The farmhouse Il Poggio dei Cipressi is situated a few kilometers far from the National Park of Casentino Woods on a hill plunged in nature and peace. We had the farmhouse restored with care and love, thus obtaining some comfortable apartments with a view on the valley of the river Arno, which rises from Mount Falterona, a few kilometers far from the farmhouse. Bedrooms are large, comfortable and carefully furnished. The house dominates the valley and the look goes from the olive trees down the valley getting lost in the mystic mountains of the Casentino area. The woods surrounding the farmhouse saturate the air with oxygen, thus awakening the natural and basic needs of mankind. At the Poggio dei Cipressi you'll spend a relaxing day plunged in uncontaminated nature. Days will go by in complete relax by the fireside after a walk in the countryside or a visit to find out religious places, local traditions and good food. Upon request, at dinner, it is possible to taste the produce of the farmhouse, which are all absolutely organic: salami of pigs of the breed called Cinta Senese, goat's milk cheese, home-made pasta and vegetables grown in the fields.
