Who we are

Federico and Caterina have been living at Il Trebbio for 15 years, Stella for 13 and Luca for 2 years.

The Owners

Federico takes care of the farmhouse and guests. Stella takes care of "public relations", while Caterina helps - when she can - in the kitchen and with guests; Luca is the "entertainer" of Il Trebbio. The owners are young and enthusiastic of their work and they will be glad to share with you a few moments of the life in the countryside and this heavenly place they have chosen to leave the city stress and smog.

A precious help

Life at Il Trebbio is very charming and exciting, but such a farmhouse - in order to be "closed cycled" as we want and able to allow us to live completely on our produce - entails much work and hard sacrifice. In this difficult enterprise Anna and Moussa are of great support. Anna helps in the running of bedrooms and she's at the cutting edge of our kitchen...tortelli stuffed with potatoes and goat's milk cheese, home-made pasta and delicious cakes are her speciality. Moussa takes care of the sheepfold, the quality of milk and cheese depends on the way animals are bred.
